South London’s finest Rob Beckett is back on tour with a brand new stand up show entitled Wallop!* It’s been a busy few years for the Mouth of the South and he’s coming your way to fill you in and make you laugh.
Rob will be hitting the road between October and December 2019, bringing his down to earth humour and sidesplitting tales to 23 venues around the UK, with more dates to be announced in due course.
It has been an exhilarating couple of years for Rob as he has won him legions of fans across the UK. Hisprevious tour, Mouth Of The South was met with such phenomenal demand it was extended for two years throughout 2015 – 2017, seeing Rob perform to sold out audiences across the country and gain considerable critical acclaim.
As well as his live stand up, Rob is host of BBC One’s primetime singing entertainment show All Together Now, which returns for a celebrity special later this year and has been commissioned for a second series, returning to BBC One early in 2019. The last 18 months have also seen Rob take up the role of team captain on Channel 4/More4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats, co-host BBC One’s Wedding Day Winners alongside Lorraine Kelly and the voice of E4’s Celebs Go Dating.
Rob is also set to appear of the forthcoming 6–part Sky One series ‘Rob and Romesh Meet’, which will see Rob team up with comedian and friend Romesh Ranganathan to meet their wish list of all-time greats from the world of sport and entertainment.
Other notable TV appearances include BBC One’s Live At The Apollo, Would I Lie To You?, Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, BBC Two’s Mock The Week, ITV’s Sunday Night At The Palladium and Play To The Whistle, ITV2’s Celebrity Juice and Sky’s ALeague of Their Own.
Rob is also host of Dave’s football focused podcast, The Magic Sponge, alongside Jimmy Bullard and Ian Smith.
