Red Dwarf star Danny John-Jules did well in his first Strictly Come Dancing dance despite an injury.

Earlier in the week he said he had had to bandage his toes.

But he came out fighting with his partner Amy Dowden and scored 27 points for their foxtrot, putting them high up on the leader board.

Bruno Tonioli said Danny "knew how to make an entrance".
