Comedian Amy Schumer was among the protestors at the anti-Brett Kavanaugh rally yesterday in Washington.
Schumer was present at a sit-in on the floor of a Senate building. The protesters were attempting to stop the appointment of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Speaking at the rally Schumer said: "A vote for Kavanaugh is a vote saying women don't matter."
Model-actor Emily Ratajkowski was also at the event.
This follows California college professor Christine Blasey Ford testifying last week at a Senate hearing that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school when they were teenagers. Kavanaugh testified and denied the allegations.
