On the first episode of the new series of Would I Lie To You? last week a clip of Bob Mortimer's claim that he cracks an egg into his bath following Chris Rea's advice went viral.

Mortimer fan Chris Rubery tweeted: "At some point Would I Lie To You? is going to do an hour long compilation episode of Bob Mortimer's bits, and it will be the highest rated tv show of all time."

It turns out that someone has already anticipated this thought. Fans can watch the two-part (unofficial) Mortimerian Tales on YouTube containing over 70 minutes of inspired Mortimer yarns below.
