Following a successful run of 19 sell out shows at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Kevin Bridges has been presented with the  “GIE IT LALDY” award.

The presentation by Peter Duthie CEO, of the Scottish Event Campus marks the first official accolade from the Hydro and recognises an exceptional contribution to the live event industry.

Receiving the accolade Kevin said: "Thanks to the Hydro for the award. It's an honour to play so many shows at such a brilliant arena and most importantly thanks to the people of Glasgow and those who travelled from all over to see the show.  Amazing audiences and here's to many more nights over the years"

Peter added: “We are delighted to recognise Kevin’s achievement at the SSE Hydro with this award.   To date, and across the wider SEC campus he has played an incredible 46 performances and sold more tickets than any other solo artist.”
