News: Banana Cabaret Returns To Its Home

One of stand-up comedy’s longest-running residencies is to resume shortly. Banana Cabaret is delighted to announce its imminent return to its home of 35 years, The Bedford in Balham.

Dave Vickers and his team are excited to get up and running following The Bedford’s eagerly anticipated multimillion pound redevelopment, now in its final stages. The pub officially opens on 3rd December.

Banana Cabaret has a worldwide reputation amongst comedians and audience alike, justly recognised for its warm welcome and one of the strongest bills anywhere on the circuit.

Stars who have graced the Banana Cabaret stage in their time include Eddie Izzard, Catherine Tate, Michael McIntyre, Micky Flanagan, Lee Mack - to name but a few.  Top acts such as Joe Lycett, Sara Pascoe, Tim Vine and Rich Hall make regular appearances, in particular during The Balham Comedy Festival, held every summer. And the club will continue to be a showcase for the cream of the circuit and emerging talent.

Listings and tickets for December and into 2019 are available on the Banana Cabaret website. Look out for special guests in January! Doors open at 7pm and the show runs from 9pm until 11pm. There is a great pre-show menu available plus late bars and DJs after the show.
