Some of the UK's top one-liner gagsmiths have taken part in the filming of a new ITV pilot.
Out There, to be broadcast later this month, is filmed in various locations with stand-ups making site specific jokes.
The cast features Milton Jones, Zoe Lyons, Tom Allen, Kerry Godliman, Ed Gamble, Rhys James, Ivo Graham, London Hughes, Nathan Caton, Huge Davies, Darren Walsh, Mark Simmons, Rosie Jones, Nigel Ng, Bec Hill, Chris McCausland, Glenn Moore & Masai Graham. The show also features musical stings provided by beatbox duo A-Cloud.
West Bromwich punster Masai Graham, who was UK Pun Champion and also won Dave's Joke of the Fringe in 2016 (“My dad has suggested that I register for a donor card. He’s a man after my own heart.”) said on Facebook that scenes were filmed in locations such as cinemas, hospitals and bookshops and that Milton Jones, Mark Simmons, Darren Walsh, Glenn Moore and Bec Hill were also in the pilot.
The brainchild of ‘Mock the Week’ co-creator Dan Patterson, ‘Out There’ is produced by his company Angst Productions and directed by the legendary comedy director Geoff Posner.
Mark Simmons posted a picture of himself in a hot tub (pictured) with Darren Walsh and wrote: "I’m in a new TV show being piloted on ITV in February, I promise it’s not porn."
