Tributes have been paid to American comedian Brody Stevens, who has died.
Reports say that the 48-year-old was found dead in Los Angeles.
Stevens was in The Hangover and Hangover 2 films and appeared freuently on TV chat shows.
The Comedy Store in LA tweeted: "We enjoyed it Brody. Rest in peace, thank you for being a great friend, a fearless comic, and a good guy....Thank you Brody for sharing your Comedy and positive energy with us for so many years. You made late nights so much fun, pushing boundaries, being different, and never doing the same show twice. Joke writing, crowd work, drums, baseball. We love you forever Brody."
The venue is planning a .Enjoy It: Brody Stevens’s Festival Of Friendship Show!. Comedian Sam Tripoli said: "Proceeds will go to an organization that will help us not lose anyone else again! If you want to perform please let me know!"
Sarah Silverman tweeted: "The comedy clubs will have “Make God Laugh” on their marquees 2nite like they always do when one of us ... I’m not sure God will GET Brody but his local references will be epic. Ugh. So sad. #818 #EnjoyIt #RIPBrodyStevens Ps Brody would be so psyched about TMZ covering it."

Dick Van Dyke wrote a lengthy tribute on Facebook: "I was first introduced to Brody Stevens by the Mrs. Arlene Silver He was headlining at the Improv and she wanted to introduce her favorite comedian to me. I was impressed with how clean and naturally funny he was. He didn’t seem to have an act, but he was overflowing with a distinct personality and unique delivery that you couldn’t help but laugh. On this particular evening he seemed to be “bombing” or was he? I’ve never seen someone “bomb” so brilliantly. I’ll never forget him pleading with the crowd “Work with me people!! I have jokes!”

Yesterday the Sun Devil Baseball team from Arizona held a moment of silence on honor of Stevens before their game.
