Camp Bestival has revealed the 2019 comedy headliners heading to Camp Bestival’s Big Top at Lulworth Castle, July 25th - 28th. Leading the laughs will be award-winning comedian and actor Omid Djalili, Boothby Graffoe and compere Andre Vincent, ensuring the best of British stand-up for all the family throughout the weekend.
Camp Bestival curator Rob da Bank said “I’m so pleased we finally got Omid to come to Camp Bestival. He’s exactly the kinda comic we need in our times who isn’t scared about breaking down stereotypes and always has us wetting ourselves, sometimes literally, with his keen eye and sharp tongue. Whack in Boothby Graffoe, whose work with Barenaked Ladies we love too, for a cracking double bill of side- splitting mirth and merriment.”
Djalili joins Camp Bestival off the back of his sold-out UK tour. Djalili has become a household name in the UK, thanks to stand-out features in hits such as Mamma Mia 2 and The Infidel.
Boothby Graffoe will be bringing his unique, quirky songs and stories to Lulworth Castle, while Andre Vincent will be taking on MC duties and compering at the Big Top, keeping kids and parents in the festi-holiday spirit.
They join a whole host of family fun and entertainment, with fun and frolics to keep everyone happy. The festival also features music legends including Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Jess Glynne and The Human League, whiled little ones can enjoy out-of-this-world children’s entertainment from party people Big Fish Little Fish, Mr Tumble and kids TV favourites Sam & Mark.
