National digital radio station Union JACK has commissioned a third series of Geoff Lloyd’s Hometown Glory; a unique, comedic interview series that sees acclaimed broadcaster Lloyd take a number of famous faces on a trip down memory lane, through the assistance of Google Maps.
Series three kicks off at 11am this Saturday 25 May, with the first interview featuring comedian Ed Gamble, who reveals some hilarious tales of his youth and early years growing up in Southwest London. The show will then run for six consecutive weeks, with other interviews also confirmed with singer and 1980s teen idol Paul Young; comedian and actor Tom Rosenthal, son of TV sports presenter Jim Rosenthal, and perhaps best-known for his roles in ITV’s Plebs and Channel 4’sFriday Night Dinner; and celebrated broadcaster and writer Iain Lee, whose credits include The 11 O’Clock Show on Channel 4, and RI:SE, along with multiple radio roles.
In addition to the radio show, each interview will be further available to listen to as a podcast.
