John Archer almost made it through to the Britain's Got Talent final. 

With one place in the final left in his semi-final he was up against fellow comedian Kojo Anim. 

Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon all went for London-based stand-up Kojo Anim. 

After his performance comedy magician John Archer received a standing ovation from both the judges and the audience after his semi-final appearance on Britain's Got Talent.

Archer successfully picked the numbers on the lottery ticket chosen by Ant & Dec and amazed everyone at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith.

Simon Cowell said: "I wasn't a big fan of your first audition, however...boy did you just take your moment."

David Walliams said: "It was just one of those magic moments. You are a superstar."

Alesha Dixon said "You are a star John."

And Amanda Holden added: "You worked your butt off...well done."

John Archer said: "This is the best moment I've had in my career."
