Vic Reeves and Susan Calman are among the celebrities taking part in the next edition of The Crystal Maze, which airs on C4 on Friday July 5 at 8pm.
Reeves' wife Nancy Sorrell is also taking part alongside fellow celebrities Ferne McCann and former English cricketer Graeme Swann, taking on the maze and its brand new Eastern Zone.
Maze Master Richard Ayoade will once again lead the celebrities through each zone in this series, which will see teams take on a host of skill, physical, mental and mystery challenges, in the hope of winning crystals that can be exchanged for time in the iconic Crystal Dome. The celebrities will once again see the teams aiming to win a prize sum for Stand Up To Cancer.
Comedians Al Murray and Russell Kane and Inside No 9's Steve Pembertonand comedian Russell Kane are set to appear in future episodes.
With the introduction of the new Eastern Zone - influenced by the historic art, architecture and monuments of East Asia, and the added pressure of the new Mega Crystal option – a chance to supersize one crystal that, if won, could give them double the time of a regular crystal, there are sure to be a few unexpected hurdles in this new series.
