The Bafta-nominated Live At The Apollo returns to BBC Two for a 15th series with six brand new episodes.
The roll call of stand-ups who have performed in front of the renowned Live At The Apollo lights plays out like a who’s who of comedic royalty, and this series is no different. Each episode will see a national (and sometimes international!) stand-up compering and performing, before introducing two of the best established and up and coming stand-ups to the stage.
This first episode of the new series is hosted by the acerbically funny host of BBC’s The Apprentice: You’re Fired, Tom Allen, who welcomes the rising talents of Rosie Jones and Kae Kurd to the stage.
Other acts to appear throughout the series include: Sindhu Vee, Lou Sanders, Alex Edelman, Darren Harriott, Jessica Fostekew, Stephen Bailey, Desiree Burch, Jonny Pelham, Paul McCaffrey, Ardal O’Hanlon, Sara Baron, Mawaan Rizwan, Guz Khan, Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Rhys James. More names here.
