Comedian Chris Ramsey has been knocked out of this year's Strictly Come Dancing competition.

Ramsey and his partner Karen Hauer came bottom on Saturday night and on Sunday night's programme were in the dance-off with CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual.

The judges decided that Karim should make it through.

Ramsey, who had improved considerably after a less-than=impressive start in the compeititon told co-host Tess Daly: "I never ever thought I would make it past week two, genuinely I had no expectations whatsoever, I am astounded and I’ve got to thank Karen. She is just amazing and is just amazing and so patient its crazy!. She is awesome. I had sleepless nights in the build up and there is no-one else who can have made it what it has been.” 

The other finalists are EastEnders' Emma Barton and Emmerdale's Kelvin Fletcher.
