Comedy Central UK has announced the launch date for brand new entertainment show Gods of the Game. The new series, fronted by Britain’s most decorated Olympian Sir Bradley Wiggins with co-host comedian Tom Rosenthal, will launch on Thursday 12th March at 8:30pm.

With a line-up featuring some of the UK’s finest sporting stars including Sir Mo Farah, Sir Chris Hoy and Rebecca Adlington, each episode will follow the athletes (the Gods) as they take on everyday contestants (the Mortals) in unique challenges based upon the impressive skills of each sporting legend.

The ‘mortals’ will be given the option to choose how much of a head start they require - the bigger the advantage the less points they win, reducing their chances of a podium finish in the medal ceremony and consequent bragging rights that they beat their sporting hero at their own game.

Gods of the Game starts Thursday 12th March at 8:30pm on Comedy Central UK.
