The line-up has been announced for the next Jason Manford Presents: The Weekly Stand Up which takes place on Thursday July 17. The show runs online every Thursday at 8pm funtil 13 August. 

This show features Shagged. Married. Avoid. podcast stars Chris & Rosie Ramsey, Jo Caulfield, Stuart Goldsmith, Allyson June Smith and Emmanuel Sonubi.

The Weekly Stand Up is a live ticketed streamed event from comedians homes, into your homes. Featuring the very best comedians from the UK circuit, and around the world, we are going to be bringing laughter, home. Further comedians for the following weeks will be announced soon.  

Jason Manford said: “I’ve always been conscious of how precarious my industry can be. I set up Manford’s Comedy Clubs five years ago to support other comedians and now I’m here, trying to do what I can to help again. I’ve set up the gigs to support my friends and colleagues during this awful time, whilst none of us would claim to be ‘key workers’, we know that a lot of frontline staff and key workers could do with having their minds taken off the difficulty of what’s going on out there and as always, everybody could do with a good laugh. I hope these shows will go some way to bridging the gap between now and when we are allowed back in our venues once more”.

The gigs will be streamed live to a password protected website theweeklystandup.co.uk where people can watch the show live, or at any time up to 24 hours afterwards.

A weekly donation will be made to various performers charities every week.
