News: Jason Manford's 2020 Work In Progress Shows Moved To 2021

North West Comedy Awards – Results

Following the closure of all UK theatres due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Jason Manford has announced that his 2020 Work In Progress shows have been rescheduled for January 2021. All ticket holders will be contacted this week.

Jason has spent the past months during lockdown keeping the nation entertained at home with quizzes, comedy clubs for kids and his new weekly streamed comedy night ‘Jason Manford Presents: The Weekly Stand Up’. Though he’s disappointed that his long-awaited return to the stage has been postponed, he’s looking forward to going back on the road from January next year.

Jason said: “I’m gutted that I’ve had to reschedule my warm-up shows this year, as I’ve been so excited to get back on stage after being stuck in doors since March, but safety has to come first! Thankfully we’ve only got to wait a few more months before we can sit in a theatre together and have a big old laugh. See you in January!”

Jason’s work spans comedy, acting, singing and presenting and includes a host of top TV credits: ‘First & Last’ (BBC One), ‘The Masked Singer’ (ITV1), ‘What Would Your Kid Do?’ (ITV1), ‘Olivier Awards’ (ITV1), ‘Scarborough’ (BBC One), ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’ (Channel 4), ‘The Nightly Show’ (ITV1), ‘Sunday Night at the Palladium’ (ITV1), ‘Live at the Apollo’ (BBC One), ‘Have I Got News For You’ (BBC One), ‘QI’ (BBC Two) and ‘The Royal Variety Performance’ (ITV1).
