Comedian/writer Njambi McGrath is to make a series for Radio 4. The four-parter will be based upon her hit 2019 Edinburgh Show ‘Accidental Coconut’ and will be produced by Richard Melvin of Dabster Productions.
Dabster have previously made shows for Radio 4 including Rosie Jones - Box Ticker, Suggs Love Letters To London, Fred At The Stand & The John Moloney Show.
Njambi McGrath said: "I am absolutely delighted and over the moon. Working with Richard and Radio 4 is a dream come true."
Richard Melvin said "I can’t wait to start working with Njambi again later this year on this exciting new Radio 4 project. She’s incredibly funny, insightful and challenging. I think the listeners are going to love what we’ve got planned."
It was also recently announced that London-based McGrath's memoir 'Through The Leopard’s Gaze' is to be made in to a six-part comedy/drama by Expectation, who made the BAFTA-Award winning show In My Skin.
