Olga Koch is to record a four-part primetime comedy series for Radio 4.
Building on the success of her critically acclaimed Radio 4 Special Fight, Edinburgh Best Newcomer Nominee Olga Koch has been commissioned to write and perform a new comedy series. Comedian and computer scientist Olga Koch will use storytelling, stand-up and interviews to take the listeners on a fascinating journey around our ever-changing world with the help of her A.I. assistant, Algo.
Earlier this year, Olga completed a national tour of her 2020 show, If/Then, which earned her a Best Show nomination at the Leicester Comedy Festival. Olga has also appeared on Mock The Week, The Now Show, Pls Like, King Gary & BBC Arts Hour.
The broadcaster has commissioned four episodes of Olga Koch: OK Computer in the 6.30pm slot.
Executive producer Victoria Lloyd said: “We’re delighted to be working with Olga again. Her Radio 4 special Fight was brilliantly funny, and this series will delve even deeper inside her strange and wonderful comic mind”.
Olga commented: "Bringing OK Computer to life on Radio 4 is an absolute dream come true! I am so excited, it simply does not compute!"
OK Computer is scheduled to be broadcast Summer 2021.
