Myra Dubois is the latest act from the comedy circuit to appear in the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent.
Dubois is the first act to perform on the edition that airs on Saturday, September19 at 8pm.
Comedians Steve Royle and Baptist minister/stand-up Allen Finnegan have already appeared before the judges. Royle made it through to the final, Finnegan didn't and in fact Ofcom has received 303 complaints about Finnegan's routine which included jokes about funerals and death which some people thought were offensive during the pandemic.
Finnegan has been overshadowed by the controversy over dance group Diversity's pro-BLM performance which received over 20,000. ITV has stodd by Diversity issuing a statement: "Britain's Got Talent has always been an inclusive show, which showcases diversity and supports strong storytelling in all forms and ITV stands behind the decision to broadcast Diversity's performance on BGT.
"Ashley and the group are a great example of the talent, creativity and diversity of modern Britain and their performance was an authentic, heartfelt response to many of the issues and events which have affected society in 2020."
