Northern Irish comedian and online viral sensation Sean Hegarty is set to star in a new Comedy/Drama on BBC Radio Ulster entitled What Happens In Ulster.

Sean will play the role of the Mayor in the production that will also see him once again star alongside his wife Diona Doherty.

The comedian from Lurgan in Northern Ireland is a familiar face on screens and radio in his native country, having appeared in Soft Border Patrol, Find Me The Funny and Irelands Got Talent were he reached the Semi Finals.

His online character Rodney has amassed an incredible 60 million online views and even had a Christmas No1 in 2015 beating Justin Beiber & Beyonce to the spot. 

The programme is due to air on BBC Radio Ulster & BBC Sounds from 27th February 2021 for six weeks at 10.30pm
