A new music video, Joe & the Jews, sees comedian Joe Jacobs (with additional words from writer Lee Kern) tackle antisemitism, as well as ‘YouTube conspiracists’.
Part of a series of new videos seeking to explain anti-Jewish racism to those on the cusp of conspiracy culture and filmed over the summer under strict COVID-19 protocols, Joe & the Jews is a tongue-in-check explainer for those that might not realise they are engaging with anti-semitic content online and elsewhere. The associated wearetruthers website includes educational materials.
We are truthers is a campaign being run by the Antisemitism Policy Trust together with the Community Security Trust, with content produced by Kakaw Productions. This is the second in a series of educational videos the two organisations have worked on with actor Marlon Solomon. The first is available on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/marlonsolomon1
