Detectorists
Filming has started on the second series of BBC Four’s double BAFTA Award-winning sitcom, Detectorists, starring Mackenzie Crook and Toby Jones. This six-part series, and one-off Christmas special, is being shot in Suffolk, Essex and London over the coming six weeks.
Radio comedy Cabin Pressure has been voted Comedy of the Year by the readers of comedy website The British Comedy Guide. The sitcom, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Roger Allam and Finnemore, finished this Christmas. The writer also won Best Radio Sketch Show for John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme.
Written, directed by and starring Mackenzie Crook, and co-starring Toby Jones, the series has been critically acclaimed and gained BBC Four's highest ever viewing figures for a new comedy.
