Rob Beckett
Broadcast live from the BBC’s Elstree studios on Friday 16 November, the night will feature an all-star line-up as they work together to help raise money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
South London’s finest Rob Beckett is back on tour with a brand new stand up show entitled Wallop!* It’s been a busy few years for the Mouth of the South and he’s coming your way to fill you in and make you laugh.
Rob will be hitting the road between October and December 2019, bringing his down to earth humour and sidesplitting tales to 23 venues around the UK, with more dates to be announced in due course.
Famous faces from a range of backgrounds will be on a mission to wow television’s largest judging panel, The 100, with performances so compelling they just have to join in. The more of The 100 that stand up and sing along, the higher the score and the closer they are to being crowned winner.
Rob Beckett will return as host, with Geri Horner as Head of the 100, a unique panel of one hundred music experts and performers from across the UK. Once again the aim of the game for each act is to get as many of the 100 on their feet and singing along, because the more of the 100 who join in, the higher the score.
Channel 4 and Rumpus Media is to make Rob Beckett’s Playing for Time, a new comedy entertainment series which looks at video games throughout the decades.
The four-part series sees Rob Beckett and a host of celebrity guests including Josh Widdicombe, Rachel Riley, Asim Chaudhry and Scarlett Moffat travel back to the 1980s. As with all time travel adventures, the aim is to return to the present day but, to do so, they will have to complete a level of an iconic game in each decade so they can make it back to 2018.
