Rose Matafeo won the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2018 for her breathtakingly brilliant show Horndog, which took in pop obsessions, ping pong, dating dramas and much more. This is a version of an interview I did with the New Zealand-born comedian for the Evening Standard when she brought the show to London that autumn.
Comedian Rose Matafeo is one of the celebrities who will curate an edition of Radio 3's In Concert series in March.
Award winning comedian/writer/actor Rose Matafeo’s (Taskmaster, Baby Done) stand-up special Horndog is coming to the BBC. The Edinburgh Comedy Award winning show will air on BBC Three and BBC One late February. Update - TX confirmed for Wednesday 24th February at 10:45pm, and available on BBC iPlayer from Sunday 21st February.
HBO Max, which launches in May 2020, is to stream stand-up specials from UK-based comedians Rose Matafeo and Ahir Shah.
Other stand-up specials just announced will be from Tracy Morgan and John Early.
Matafeo is already making the sitcom Starstruck which will be available on BBC Three in the UK and will stream on HBO Max in America.
