The Bristol Comedy Garden returns to Queen Square this July 3-7 with stand-up luminaries Stewart Lee and Sean Lock leading yet another outrageously good line-up performing at the Southwest’s favourite comedy extravaganza.
Kicking this year off in surreal style is the 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown team captain Sean Lock with the legendary Stewart Lee headlining a fantastic festival finale in the Big Top on the Sunday night, with a whole lot more enlightening entertainment in between.
Camp Bestival has announced its 2018 comedy line-up. Sean Lock, Dave Johns and Andrew Maxwell join Simple Minds, Rick Astley & Clean Bandit, with DJs and live acts Sara Cox, Shed Seven, Tokio Myers, Declan McKenna nd many, many more at Lulworth Castle this July.
Sean Lock has added a London date to his Keep It Light tour.
He will play the Eventim Apollo on May 8, 2017. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, July 8 here.
Bill Bailey and Sean Lock have just been announced as the headliners at this year's Altitude Festival. The annual festival, which combines stand-up with skiing and snowboarding, takes place in Mayrhofen, Austria, from March 23 - 27.
The impressive line-up also includes The Boy with Tape on his Face and the return of one of Altitude’s founders, Marcus Brigstocke, who couldn’t join us last year after shattering his knee on Channel 4 Ski Show, The Jump. Co-founder Andrew Maxwell will be there too.
Great show, shame about the audience. I've thought it a few times recently, particularly at big theatre shows. At arena gigs a few idiots would have to be particularly disruptive to spoil the night for the majority, while at a club gig the comedian can often address the issue and diffuse the situation or make it part of the event.
What has Sean Lock got to complain about? A nice regular gig on 8 Out of 10 Cats, occasional forays into other quiz shows when he fancies it and a sell-out live tour, which reaches London this weekend.
