Channel 4 has commissioned Rumpus Media to make Complaints Welcome (working title), a new comedy entertainment series putting viewers’ opinions at the heart of the show.
Comedian Tom Allen is to co-host a six-part brand-new entertainment cooking competition called Cooking With The Stars. The series, transmitting this summer on ITV and the ITV Hub, will feature eight celebrities, each paired with an accomplished chef who will mentor, teach and take them from passionate amateur to restaurant level chefs.
TV Presenter Emma Willis will co-host with Allen.
Tom Allen is to provide the voiceover commentary for The Showstoppers’ ‘Alternative Eurovision Song Contest’ for a second year.
Following the success of last year’s glitterfest, Olivier Award-winning improviser The Showstoppers are presenting the ‘AlternativeEurovision Song Contest’ again on Saturday 15 May.
Channel 4 has commissioned CPL Productions to make a new quiz series, Quizness fronted by comedian Tom Allen.
The new format was commissioned following an innovative run-through programme which Channel 4’s Head of Entertainment, Phil Harris, introduced to develop ideas from independent production companies sustainably and affordably.

In Tom Allen Goes To Town the stand-up will be travelling around the UK – as a Bromley boy it’s small town Britain he particularly loves. In this new special commissioned by Channel 4, Tom champions one of those unsung places: Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
