Aziz Ansari
US comedian Aziz Ansari is to return to the UK to play major gigs in London and Manchester later this year.
He will be doing his new Road To Nowhere show at the Manchester Apollo on 1st April, Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on April 3rd, and Royal Albert Hall on April 4th.
This follows low-key shows in London clubs last year where he tried out new material.
The end of the first series of Aziz Ansari’s Master Of None saw excitable lover of life Dev (Ansari) flying to Italy to learn how to make pasta. We catch up with him in the first episode of the second series and, sure enough, that's just what he is doing in beautiful Modena.
Aziz Ansari is set to return to Natflix with a second series of his Emmy award-winning comedy Master of None.
Season Two will premiere exclusively on Netflix on Friday, 12th May, 2017.
After travelling abroad, Dev (Aziz Ansari) returns to New York to take on challenges in his personal and family life, a new career opportunity, and a complex, developing relationship with someone very meaningful to him.
Comedy festival Just For Laughs has announced the winners of this year's Just For Laughs Awards on the eve of this year's festival in Montreal.
Aziz Ansari has been named as Comedy Person of the Year. In recent years Ansari has had a Netflix hit with his show Master of None, has published a book, Modern Romance, and has sold out Madison Square Garden.
I try not to binge-watch TV shows, but I think I’m going to have to fight to resist gorging on Aziz Ansari's Master of None. The first episode of the new 10-part Netflix series pretty much ticks all the right boxes. It is sharp, relevant, adult, silly and, most importantly, very funny.

Australian comic Nazeem Hussain has clearly got a sizeable word-of-mouth following in the UK. His first night in Soho was sold out and the audience seemed to be a mix of Asians, Aussies and those simply interested in good quality stand-up. I think all three demographics left the show satisfied.
Hussain, who is of Sri Lankan heritage, last played the UK as part of package tour Fear of a Brown Planet with Aamer Rahman, and like Rahman, a chunk of his set is about the immigrant experience in Australia.
Comedians don’t come much smoother than Aziz Ansari. Despite a niggly delay before he came on and a little glitch when he wanted the house lights up there was nothing that could put him off his stride. There was a niceness to him too. Louis CK is probably funnier, but more sour. Ansari is much more sweetly comical, which makes him feel all the more refreshing.
This is one of those weeks when the comedy circuit is relatively quiet for a few days and then it suddenly goes off with a bang. If you want to catch comedy during the week the best places are the Soho Theatre where Sara Pascoe and Sam Simmons are highly recommended.
Following his sold-out show last year, American television star and acclaimed comedian Aziz Ansari returns to London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on 30th November. Tickets will go on sale from 10am on Friday 19th September 2014 (pre-sale from 18th September 2014).
