More celebrities put their baking skills to the test in Britain's most famous tent, taking on three challenges set by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, all to raise awareness of Stand Up To Cancer and win the covetable Star Baker apron. This week Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding inviteTop Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness, Nolan sister Coleen, Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas and comedian Ellie Taylor into the tent to showcase their baking skills.
Joe Thomas is one of the stars of the first UK Tour of What’s In A Name?, adapted and directed by Jeremy Sams from the award-winning French film and stage sensation, Le Prènom. Thomas (The Inbetweeners, Fresh Meat) will appear in the family dinner party comedy alongside James Lance (Jeeves and Wooster, Northern Soul), Summer Strallen (Top Hat, Young Frankenstein) and Alex Gaumond (Company, Dirty Rotten Scoundrel, Matilda). Further casting to be announced.
The award winning creators of The Inbetweeners, writers and executive producers Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, are behind a new comedy film starring Joe Thomas, Claudia O'Doherty, Jemaine Clement, Hannah Tointon and Hammed Animashaun.
The Festival is the first comedy feature film release from production company Fudge Park formed by Morris and Beesley and will be released in cinemas on 17th August across the UK and Ireland. It is directed by Iain Morris and written by Keith Akushie.
