In the first episode in what has been called the last series, Larry David goes out of his comfort zone and travels to Atlanta where he is being paid by a rich fan to mingle with guests at a party. Except that David – or at least the character of David – doesn't really have a comfort zone. He has what you might call a discomfort zone. Everything he touches turns to Awkward.
The date has been confirmed for the broadcast of the new series of Larry David's hit series Curb Your Enthusiasm in America.
The eleventh season will be streaming on HBO and HBO Max from October 24. Previous series have been broadcast on Sky Atlantic shortly after the US broadcast. Reports say that the series will air in the UK on Sky Comedy at 9pm from October 25.
The transmission date has been confirmed for the return of Larry David's acclaimed series Curb Your Enthusiasm.
It will start airing on January 28 at 2am on Sky Comedy, the brand new dedicated comedy being launched by Sky on January 27. It will also be on NOW TV and should be available as a boxed set.
Bob Einstein, who played Marty Funkhouser in Curb Your Enthusiasm, has died. He was 76.
Einstein's character, who often argued and fell out with his golfing buddy Larry David, appeared in nearly two dozen episodes of the acclaimed series.
Einstein was also a comedy writer, with credits dating back to the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, the show that gave Steve Martin an early TV break. He was also famous in America for playing the recurring Super Dave Osborne character on various shows.
