Comedy sketch group Tarot have been announced as winners of the 2025 Next Big Thing award, a major new comedy prize that has been created to name one act every year: the act most deserving of the public’s attention, as well as the media’s spotlight.
At the start of each year - when media and the arts world typically highlight key new talent - the Next Big Thing award wants to name and support the comedians most deserving of a breakthrough into mass public consciousness.
Sketch troupe Tarot are back at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer with a new show, Shuffle. Their third hour, this show will play in the Pleasance Courtyard from the 31st July until 25th August at 9:30pm, before the gang take the show on tour across the UK in the autumn. All tickets are on sale now.
Sketch group Tarot have a new Radio 4 sketch show entitled Soundbleed.
Sketch group Tarot will embark on a UK tour with their debut show after a completely sold out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019, including a run of extra dates in Pleasance’s Pleasance Two venue.
The tour will kick off on Saturday April 4th in Bristol and will run through to Saturday May 30th, with two extra performances added in Soho Theatee’s Downstairs space added due to demand.
