Kiri has had a busy few years. As well as hosting Live at the Apollo, fronting the Radio 4 panel show Best Medicine and starting a comedy school, she’s become a foster parent. Didn’t know that about her? Well, until now she hasn’t been able to talk about it on stage, she hasn’t even told the kids in her care that she’s a comedian oh and she uses a different name - she’s the Bruce Wayne of comedy but without the mansions.
Comedian and writer Kiri Pritchard-McLean hosts a new stand-up comedy series, Live From Barry Island, featuring emerging talent and established comedians from across the UK.
In the first episode of the series, Valleys-born Morgan Rees takes to the stage to discuss his grandfather’s marriage to a much younger wife, and Australian Ray Badran is coming to terms with needing a coat since his move to the UK.
Following a hugely popular pilot episode, award-winning comedian, Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Large Time Productions are delighted to announce that Radio 4 has commissioned a further ten episodes of the funny and fascinating panel discussion show Best Medicine.
Comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean has announced that Empathy Pains, the show that she was able to tour for just four dates before we were all locked down, is now available to stream. Originally intended to focus on our relationship with empathy, the show evolved into an examination of the crisis that men are currently undergoing and the rise in male suicides over the last few years.
