Following his sold out 2024 tour, online sensation and stand-up Morgan Rees is set to tour his new show What A Bummer in 2026. Starting in Brighton, the tour will span over twenty towns and cities, including London. Filming has started on the new BBC sitcom Ann Droid with BAFTA nominated Sue Johnston (True Love, The Royle Family) confirmed to play Sue, and Paul Ready (Motherland) confirmed to play her son Michael.

BBC Director of Comedy Jon Petrie has today announced 10 new and returning shows at the BBC Comedy Festival, as he championed affordable, distinctive comedy from across the UK.
