Tour For Online Star Morgan Rees

Following his sold out 2024 tour, online sensation and stand-up Morgan Rees is set to tour his new show What A Bummer in 2026. Starting in Brighton, the tour will span over twenty towns and cities, including London. Sue Johnston and Paul Ready Join Diane Morgan’s BBC Comedy Ann Droid

Filming has started on the new BBC sitcom Ann Droid with BAFTA nominated Sue Johnston (True Love, The Royle Family) confirmed to play Sue, and Paul Ready (Motherland) confirmed to play her son Michael.

Written by Diane Morgan (Mandy, Cunk) and Sarah Kendall (Frayed, The Other One), the six-part series will be made by Boffola Pictures and Witchcraft Industries for BBC iPlayer and BBC One.

BBC Announces New Shows With Diane Morgan, Lenny Rush, Rob Brydon, Sophie Willan

BBC Director of Comedy Jon Petrie has today announced 10 new and returning shows at the BBC Comedy Festival, as he championed affordable, distinctive comedy from across the UK.

Speaking at the BBC Comedy Festival in Belfast, Jon Petrie and Eddie Doyle, Senior Head Content Commissioning BBC Northern Ireland, also announced over half a million pounds of additional, year-long funding for brand new comedy.

Comedian Robin Morgan, as seen on Mock The Week (RIP), as heard on The Now Show (RIP), writer for The Mash Report (RIP) has released his first full stand-up special ‘Snip Snip, Bitch’ via indie label Go Faster Stripe.
 
The show was filmed one year ago in April 2023 in Robin’s hometown of Cardiff, at the Glee Club, the venue where he spent many years working behind the bar.
