Daisy May and Charlie Cooper’s NightWatch has been commissioned for BBC Two and iPlayer for 6x30' episodes.
The series will reunite the multi-award-winning partnership and combined comedy genius of siblings Daisy and Charlie through their mutual and lifelong passion of all things paranormal. The pair will be locked in together – overnight, in some of the spookiest and reputedly most haunted places in the country.
Their mission will be to stay from dusk till dawn, hopefully alone.
If you want to write a funny play why not write one that features three real-life comedy greats delivering some of their classic lines? It may not be the case but that feels like part of the thinking behind writer/director Paul Hendy's short and bittersweet comedy which explores the whats and the whys of stand-up through the work of Eric Morecambe, Bob Monkhouse and Tommy Cooper.
