Strictly
Strictly - It Takes Two returns this September to BBC Two and BBC iPlayer with a new look and a new host: comedian, presenter, and former Strictly contestant Ellie Taylor.
With new episodes premiering every weeknight, It Takes Two will offer a peek behind the curtain at everything that goes into making the UK's favourite dance show.
Swansea-born Melanie Walters has enjoyed a celebrated career across film, radio, television and theatre, amassing an impressive range of credits over several decades. Her television work includes roles in Coronation Street, Beyond Paradise, Being Human, Hollyoaks, Biff and Chip, and Doc Martin, while her film credits include Submarine, Resistance, High Tide and Save the Cinema. On stage, she has appeared in productions such as The Importance of Being Earnest, Blood Brothers, Twelfth Night, Educating Rita and What’s New Pussycat?
As widely predicted, comedian Chris McCausland has won this year's Strictly Come Dancing along with his dancing partner Dianne Buswell.
McCausland, who was the long-running show's first blind contestant, impressed both the judges and the public, who voted for him.
He said after the victory that his win was for Dianne "and for everyone out there who's got told they couldn't do something or thought they couldn't do it...It just shows with opportunity and support and determination, anything can happen."
