Mrs Brown's Boys
Chat show spin-off All Round To Mrs Brown's has been dropped by the BBC this year due to Covid, according to reports.
BBC One sitcom Mrs Brown's Boys has won Best Comedy at the National Television Awards.
The show, starring Brendan O'Carroll as the smutty-mouthed matriarch pipped critically acclaimed shows Derry Girls, Fleabag, Sex Education and After Life to the top prize. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, Twitter was not very pleased.
Mrs Brown's Boys is returning to the live stage in 2020 with a major new tour.
Mrs Brown's Boys D'live Show, starring award-winning comedian Brendan O’Carroll, will start on June 19 at the Brmingham Arena and it currently runs until the 3Arena in Dublin on December 15.
There will be both matinee and evening shows.
The Award Winning Brendan O’Carroll and Mrs Brown’s Boys invite you to their brand new production “Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Musical?” coming to arenas across the UK and Ireland in 2019.
The hugely popular Mrs Brown’s Boys cemented its status as the nation’s favourite sitcom last July, with its live episode airing on a Saturday night reaching over 11 million viewers and winning the Radio Times Most Popular 21st Century Sitcom poll.
Apparently 40,000 fans applied for the 400 tickets for this live sitcom broadcast. 40,000 people can’t be wrong can they? Well, 17 million voted for Brexit and we all know what a fecking mess that has got us into, as Agnes Brown might say.
