If you've been watching the new Channel 4 drama It's A Sin, which started on Friday night, firstly you've been doing the right thing. It's brilliant, emotional, sad and extremely touching. And secondly the writer Russell T Davies is one of the guests on this week's Sunday Brunch. Expect him to be chatting about his powerful new series and also, possibly, Doctor Who. Davies recently mentioned that he had unearthed a script that he wrote in 1985 on a manual typewriter – around the time It's A Sin is set as it happens – and the plan is for it to be turned into an audio edition.
As well as Davies, Charlotte Ritchie is on the show talking to hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer. Ritchie, who broke through in Fresh Meat, is having a pretty good TV run at the moment. As well as starring in the acclaimed sitcom Ghosts and the equally acclaimed Mae Martin comedy Feel Good, which is due to return for a second series, she also appears in the new series of the gaming comedy Dead Pixels, coming back to E4 on Tuesday, January 26 at 10pm. Ritchie, who will be known to mainstream Sunday night television viewers for Call The Midwife, plays non-gamer Alison.
Also appearing on this week's show are writer/presenter Radzi Chinyanganya, who has a newbook out, Move Like A Lion, Andy's* mum Judy Murray, Andi's* daughter Miquita Oliver,Tom Read Wilson and preenter Simon Reeve.
Plus food fun from Sue Quinn, tipples tips from Karina Elias and music from Arlo Parks, whose debut album Collpased In Sunbeams is out on January 29.
Sunday Brunch, Sunday, January 24, C4, 9.30am.
*Andy Murray – tennis player who sadly can't play in the Melbourne Open this year.
**Andi Oliver - cook and former singer with cool bands I used to see yonks ago.
