Shane Allen, Director, BBC Comedy Commissioning, has announced Hannah Rose as Assistant Commissioner. Based in Salford, Hannah will be working with talent in the North on new and existing titles.
Rose is currently a producer and commissioning lead for comedy at BBC Sounds. She has developed and produced scripted and entertainment titles across the comedy portfolio, working with established names such as Sofie Hagen as well as nurturing newer voices such as Jacob Hawley and Alison Spittle.

Hannah Rose will report to Shane Allen and takes up the new role on 12 April this year.
