Geoff Norcott, Caitlin Moran Join Sunday Brunch Line-Up

Some interesting guests on Sunday Brunch this week. Comedian Geoff Norcott has carved out a niche for himself as the acceptable face of Tory-voting stand-ups. He just says what he thinks and even if you don't agree with him politically he sounds quite reasonable. And he is certainly no Tory toff, he grew up on a council estate and has come to his own conclusions about politics. And what's more he's that rare thing these days in the middle of heated culture wars – even if you don't agree with his politcs he is still funny.

Norcott also has a new autobiographical book out called Where Did I Go Right (How the Left Lost Me), which has already garnered praise from comics including Romesh Ranganathan, Katherine Ryan and David Baddiel. Order here. And find out more about his tour here.

i'm not sure if I'd buy a ticket for his forthcoming tour, but I'm certainly happy to watch him on TV. He was, interestingly, a regular on The Mash Report which was axed recently and accused by some of being too left wing. Work that one out if you can.

Also on Sunday Brunch is the hilariously funny Caitlin Moran. I can't do justice to her boundless wit, but I'm sure she can do that for herself. Moran always has lots of creative projects on the go though so I guess she will be chatting about all sorts of intriguing, sexy things to Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer. She could pretty much talk about anything and have me laughing.

The other guests are Gary Numan, Johanna Konte, St Vincent (I wonder if they will mention that recent interview), Jason Donovan Laura Mvula.

Sunday Brunch, Sunday, May 23, C4, 9.30am
