National Comedy Awards Postponed

Voting Reopens For National Comedy Awards

If you were wondering what has happened to the National Comedy Awards that were supposed to be announced on Channel 4 this week, the awards have been postponed due to the rise in Covid cases. They were supposed to take place with an audience and then be broadcast on C4.

An announcement on the awards website says:

"We have taken the difficult decision to postpone The National Comedy Awards for Stand Up To Cancer. Our main consideration is the wellbeing of our attendees and we look forward to celebrating our fantastic comedic talent in 2022.

Voting has been paused.

Votes already cast will still be counted and voting will reopen next year for the remaining period.
