David O'Doherty Opens New Live At The Clapham Grand Season

Undisputed champion of comedy whimsy David O'Doherty headlines the first night of the new season of Friday night Live at the Clapham Grand shows at the Grand in south London this Friday.

O'Doherty is a familiar face from 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and was recently seen on our screens cycling aroud the countryside and chatting to the likes of Grayson Perry, Mel Giedroyc, Joe Wilkinson and Richard Ayoade in his Channel 4 series Along for the Ride with David O'Doherty.

O'Doherty is joined at the Grand by Ed Gamble, who is rapidly becoming the comedy go-to foodie of choice. As well as hosting the hit podcast Off Menu with James Acaster, Gamble is one of the judges on the new series of The Great British Menu.

Also on the bill are the host of BBC Wales show Kiri’s TV Flashbacks, Kiri Pritchard McLean, Michelle De Swarte and Tadiwa Mahlunge. The Grand has been regularly putting on live comedy shows wherever possible during the pandemic and now things are returning to normal this promises to be one of the best shows yet.

The season continues on the last Friday of every month. Phil Wang headlines on February 25. Rosie Jones tops the bill on March 25 and Rose Matafeo, the star of hit BBC romcom Starstruck is the main attraction on April 29. Further details and full line-ups can be found at the link below.
