It's a particularly mixed international line-up this week on Sunday Brunch which might involve some sudden gear changes from hosts Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy.
The most interesting name here is Jon Ronson, the Welsh journalist/writer who is now based in America who is back in the UK to do some live shows. The shows will be based on his fascinating recent BBC Radio 4 series, Things Fell Apart. If you've ever yelled at someone on social media about, say, cancel culture or mask-wearing, then you are a soldier in the culture wars - those everyday battles for dominance between conflicting values.
Ronson has seen friends swallowed up in them to the extent that it's ruined their lives, so he went back into the history of the culture wars to find some of the origin stories: the pebbles thrown in the pond, creating the ripples that led us to where we are today. He had no idea what he'd find, but he's uncovered some extraordinary people and the strangest, yet most consequential tales.

Also on this week's show is the hilarious Australian comedian Sarah Kendall who onstage is a marvellous storyteller, cleverly knitting together fact and fiction and keeping audiences on the edge of their seats. The second series of her comedy drama Frayed has just started on Sky and is highly recommended. It also features Robert Webb as her lying, cheating husband.
The other brunch guests include AJ Odudu, who has just been announced as one of the Comic Relief Prizeathon hosts alongside comedian Joel Dommett. The late-night special will follow the BBC News At Ten and continue the Red Nose Day evening on March 18 with live music, comedy sketches and prize draws.. Also chatting on Sunday Brunch will be Roman Kemp and there will be music from Kojey Radical.
