Daniel Kitson is to perform his acclaimed two-hander Tree in London. The performances will take place at the Old Vic from January 5 - 31, 2015.

The piece, co-starring Tim Key, was first performed at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre in 2013. Kitson has joked in his latest newsletter about how much he enjoyed doing something that did not mean he had to look at the audience all the time: "Acting – it transpires, is an absolute doddle – so much so that I keep trying to convince Tim that we should switch roles every night. But – whilst I remain very keen to 'get our Cumberbatch on' – Tim insists on doing it 'the boring way' – both of us sticking to the parts we’ve learnt -  me up a tree, him waddling around at ground level."
