Daniel Kitson
Daniel Kitson is to do a run of shows in London later this year.
He explains in his latest newsletter that last year he wrote a show for Halloween called Maybe a Ghost Story.
He previously read it out at the Globe Theatre and now he is restaging it at Wiltons Music Hall from October 30th to November 4th. This is the websitre blurb:"
Daniel Kitson has confirmed that he will be performing a new show at the Edinburgh Fringe this August from August 2 - 27.
He explained on his latest newsletter that First Thing will be a work in progress and that he doesn't know much about it at this stage except that it will start at 10.30am and will be done by noon.
First Thing will be at Summerhall's Paines Plough Roundabout venue, where Kitson has performed before (see picture below).
Daniel Kitson has added an extra show at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.
He is already scheduled to play there on July 24 and August 21 and has now confirmed a third date on August 1.
On the theatre's website there is this typically Kitsonesque caveat.
Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre have today announced MOREoutdoor events as part of their 90th anniversary season.
Daniel Kitson is to release a show exclusively on LP, CD and audio cassette. It will not be available to download and it will only be available to buy for a limited period.
He revealed more details on his latest newsletter.
Daniel Kitson's bandcamp account is safely back in his hands now following it being hacked.
Last week we reported that Kitson was asking fans not to buy his product from the site, but he has now confirmed that the problem has been resolved.
Daniel Kitson's Bandcamp account appears to have been compromised so he is telling his fans not to buy anything from the account at the moment.
He explained the situation in his Newsletter which has also been forwarded to the media by Stewart Lee.
Daniel Kitson is to perform his acclaimed new show, Dot. Dot. Dot. in London. The show will take place at the Union Chapel in Islington on Tuesday, December 1, but as with his recent acclaimed 'tour' he will perform to an empty theatre and the number of tickets sold will be limited to the capacity of the venue.
Kitson has asked fans to buy one ticket per person rather than, per household - "the show is still being written and may develop in a direction where it is best experienced individually on individual devices".

Here is the blurb:
Daniel Kitson has made his acclaimed 2007 show It's The Fireworks Talking available to help out one of the comedy chains that has been devastatingly hit by the Covid19 crisis.
