Daniel Kitson has confirmed that he will be performing a new show at the Edinburgh Fringe this August from August 2 - 27.

He explained on his latest newsletter that First Thing will be a work in progress and that he doesn't know much about it at this stage except that it will start at 10.30am and will be done by noon.

First Thing will be at Summerhall's Paines Plough Roundabout venue, where Kitson has performed before (see picture below).

The pop-up venue stages shows in the round and Kitson has written that: "I want it to be something specifically made for being in the round so that i can then tour it a bit to other lovely in the round theatres because i love being in the round."
