The BBC has released all 18 episodes of the first series of the American version of Ghosts including the pilot.
The set-up stays reasonably close to the original: "A couple inherit a crumbling mansion - and a gaggle of ghouls, from a saucy 1920s lounge singer to a 1960s hippy. It's a live-in nightmare!"
Although the Guardian review highlighted some significant changes: "Perhaps the best ghost in the original show, Mathew Baynton’s lovesick 19th-century poet, Thomas, has gone, although US viewers would surely understand him. Also junked are the witch-trial victim Mary and jolly Georgian Kitty. "
It goes out on BBC Three from Sunday 20th November, at 8.30pm, but all the episodes of Ghosts US are availbale to view now here.
