Richard Osman's House of Games Guests This Week

This week's guests on Richard Osman's House of Games are Scarlette Douglas, Max George, Susie McCabe and Olly Smith.

Electrician turned comedian Susie McCabe is one of Scotland's finest stand-ups and you can catcgh her onstage next year. McCabe is back at the King’s Theatre in Glasgow with her brand new show The Merchant Of Menace on 15 & 16 March 2024 at 7.30pm. Her previous shows there include Born Believer and Femme Fatality, which were both record breaking sellouts.

After having supported Kevin Bridges, Jason Manford and John Bishop on tour, as well as appearing on TVs Have I Got News For You, Frankie Boyle's New World Order and radio shows such as News Quiz, Just a Minute and Off The Ball, McCabe has been called a ‘national treasure’ by The Herald and Metro. In Edinburgh this year, she was one of the best reviewed comedy shows, according to British Comedy Guide. Tickets & information for her upcming live shows can be found here.

Scarlette Douglas is a reporter-slash-presenter,  Max George from The Wanted has previously been a contestant on Strictly Comed Dancing and Olly Smith is a TV presenter, award winning wine expert, foodie, columnist and author.

But it's McCabe who must be a favourite to win the show this week. Comedians are sharp competitors who have a great track record on House of Games. And we already know that McCabe is sparky - after all, she used to be an electrician. "It was a very good job," she once told me. "I went full time as comedian in 2018 then went back to it during the pandemic so I could earn some money. I was very fortunate that my audiences stayed with me and I was able to come back."
