Jim Howick, Matt Morsia, Rebecca Lucy Taylor and Susan Wokoma test their general knowledge skills for a special Xmas run of Richard Osman's Festive House of Games.
Jim Howick will be best known to discerning comedy fans as one of the team behind the award-winning spooky sitcom Ghosts. He is also one of the stars of the more traditional BBC family comedy Here We Go. He is also one of the guest stars in the Christmas Death in Paradise special this year alongside Marcus Brigstocke.
Danny John-Jules and Ignacio Lopez provide the comedy content on this week's shows alongside consumer campaigner from The One Show Nikki Fox and musical star Ruthie Henshall,
I've been so busy reading and watching and listening to other things that Richard Osman does – from books to podcasts to Pointless – that I didn't even spot that House of Games has returned for a brand new series. It's the kind of show that always finds a place for comedians in the line-up. Plenty of nice TV profile exposure and you don't even have to learn the foxtrot to be on it. In the first week of the new series last week stand-up Ahir Shah was a guest.
There are two more comedians on this week's Redemption Week, giving failed contestants the chance of a win at last.
Well, when I say two more I actually mean two Moorw - Glenn Moore and Thanyia Moore. They are up against Michael Buerk, gamous for the news report that triggered Bob Geldof to start Band Aid and Kate Humble, who will no doubt be humble-bragging if she is victorious.
It's time for another week of mind-bending fun on Richard Osman's House of Games. This week's celebrity contestants are comedian Toussaint Douglass, Mark Foster, Sheree Murphy and Sian Williams.
Viewers might not know Toussaint Douglass yet but they will soon. The London-based stand-up is a rising star on the comedy circuit with a gentle but sharp and persuasive style. He talks about his life and politics and has a quirky, offbeat take on life which has seen him positively compared to Richard Ayoade.
This week's guests on Richard Osman's House of Games are Scarlette Douglas, Max George, Susie McCabe and Olly Smith.
Electrician turned comedian Susie McCabe is one of Scotland's finest stand-ups and you can catcgh her onstage next year. McCabe is back at the King’s Theatre in Glasgow with her brand new show The Merchant Of Menace on 15 & 16 March 2024 at 7.30pm. Her previous shows there include Born Believer and Femme Fatality, which were both record breaking sellouts.
Myra DuBois, Charlie Hedges, Bonnie Langford and Tyler West test their general knowledge skills on this week's House of Games presented by best-selling authoot Richard Osman.
Oh no, I can't impress my friends and family by cheating and pretending I know all the answers any more when I watch House of Games. After a run of repeats when I've remembered the original episode this week a brand new series starts, with the first five episodes featuring contestants Ken Bruce, Alice Roberts, Perri Shakes-Drayton and Kiell Smith-Bynoe
An unusual line-up for Richard Osman's House of Games this week. Ashley John-Baptiste, Simon Rimmer, Claire Sweeney and Esme Young compete to be top dog. So for once there is no comedian in the mix. It's a week that is also more notable for another reason for the host. Richard Osman married actor/comedian Ingrid Oliver at the weekend - Oliver was coincidentally a guest on the show recently.
