The guests joining Rhod Gilbert for the first ever festive specials of Comedy Central UK’s Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains have been revealed. 

Joining beloved comedian Rhod Gilbert for Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains: Christmas Special are singer Mel B, actress and comedian Jo Brand and The One Show co-presenter, Alex Jones whilst TV personality Vicky Pattison, comedian and radio presenter Jon Richardson and comedian Loyiso Gola will be guests on Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains: New Year Special.

Rhod Gilbert, who recently won a BAFTA. says: “This is the first ever Christmas special of Growing Pains and it’s a yuletide feast of cringey Christmases. The festive period lends itself brilliantly to hilarious tales of teenage trauma  - pitiful presents, painful parties and stockings bulging with embarrassment.  Tune in for the ghosts of Christmas past Mel B, Alex Jones and Jo Brand.  Yule be sorry to miss it!”

The two festive specials follow a successful sixth series featuring celebrity guests such as Layton Williams, Dara O’Briain, Emily Atack, Vogue Williams, Judy Murray and more! Once again, Rhod Gilbert will be joined by a trio of these famous faces who will roll back the clock, reveal hilarious stories from their youths and compete to see who will be crowned the most embarrassing teenager with a nod to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains: Christmas Special and Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains New Year Special will both air in December.
