This week's guests on The Jonathan Ross Show are Sara Pascoe, Talking Heads rock icon and keen cyclist David Byrne, legendary Hollywood veteran Kurt Russell, UK actor Tim Roth, space scientist Dame Maggie Aderin and musician Noah Kahan.
It's great to see comedian Sara Pascoe back on TV. She has been busy over the last year touring with her new show I Am Strange Gloop about the ups and downs of motherhood and being married to fellow comedian Steen Raskopouslos. Pascoe has another busy year coming up with more tour shows plus major festival slots.
She is one of the star attractions of this year's Latitude Festival in July and it has recently been announced that she will also be one of the headiners at the new Battersea Park Comedy Festival in June. Details here.
Pascoe also has a new TV project in the pipeline. In Zwro Stars Pascoe and fellow comic Roisin conaty will be visiting places that have had bad reviews to see if there are any redeeming features – the pitch is "one person’s trash is another person’s treasure and that five-star hotels, restaurants and entertainment are for cowards’,
And if you want to see Sara Pascoe live in London in April she is one of the stars of a fundraiser for a charoty fighting modern female slavery. Details here.
Davis Byrne has just performed his latest show in London to rave reviews. He is a keen cyclist and even cycles around the Jonathan Ross set on his fold up bike. Byrne was recently in the news when it was reported that an offer of $80 million had been made for a Talking Heads reunion but it was turned down.
Tim Roth, famous for appearing in Quentin Tarantino's Resevoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction (he was also in Tarantino's Once Upon a Time In Hollywood but not in the released version) is about to appear back on our screens playing a Nazi in the new film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
The Jonathan Ross Show, Saturdays, 9.25pm, ITV1.
